About us

Solna Municipality is starting a new LSS residence at Gröngölingsgatan 3, which will be the city's first specialized residence with a particular focus on seniors.

The purpose of the operation is to create a safe and meaningful existence for people with disabilities who are entering an older phase of life. The specialization enables long-term and individually tailored support where each person can have their changing needs met – from adulthood and into aging.

What does the job entail?

As a group leader in the newly started Gröngölingsgatan group home, you will help shape the operation and, together with the operations manager, work to plan and develop quality work. This requires a good ability to work towards set goals. The group leader is a link between the operations manager and the work group. You promote a good working environment and guide and provide advice and support to the staff. You encourage good collaboration in the work group while being skilled at working independently. As a group leader, you will receive delegated administrative tasks and therefore need to have good computer skills. This may include scheduling, reporting in Stratsys, and more.

The assignment as a group leader requires that you are pedagogical and have an interest in continuously developing your own and your colleagues' skills. Your tasks include being part of the regular work as a support assistant.

Who are we looking for?

• You should be a trained nursing assistant or support pedagogue.
• You must have at least 1 year of experience working as a group leader or support pedagogue in a group home.
• It is an advantage if you have previously worked in elderly care.

As a person, you are secure and stable and take responsibility for your work. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a service-oriented manner. You should have a good ability to structure your work and possess good coordination skills. We are looking for someone who has a good ability to lead and motivate others to achieve common goals.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
